两位主理人Zhekai和Keren毕业于英国皇家艺术学院，于2019年成立基于材料和工艺研究的设计事务所studio KAE,并在2020年搬至上海。

他们的作品往往偏离为人设计和人为设计的情境，而是让形式美和功能属性回归到物质本身；伴随着跨越不同材料和工艺的穿插思考，试图在理性解构与感性重构中找到产品设计的新语义。

KAE is a young design consultation studio dedicated to bringing new insights into home products with innovative processes and sustainable materials. The studio’s philosophy is to develop unique design languages from the perspective of the relationship between fundamental industrial production and craftsmanship.
